Acupuncture for Healing Body, Mind, Spirit

Often symptoms are an indication that our body is experiencing an imbalance. These symptoms and dysfunctions are often messages from our bodies that it’s time for something to change. Acupuncture has the power to treat these issues of the physical body, along with those of the mind and spirit. Often it simply requires an energetic nudge for the body to regain balance and find its natural way. We together will identify the root of your issues and help restore your body’s balance. I also use acupuncture as preventative medicine to keep myself and my clients’ bodies strong, mind centered, and to correct imbalances before they manifest as disease.

Multiple Sclerosis

Hello, As a practitioner, I feel the need to serve a population that seriously needs Acupuncture. My

How I can help you feel better

As a practitioner, I feel the need to serve a population that seriously needs Acupuncture. My goal is to make it more available & affordable to Multiple Sclerosis (especially with what's going on w/the healthcare system).

I choose MS because it is a neurological degenerative disease which can impact the person in many ways such as chronic pain, urinary incontinence, atrophy, headaches, well, you know the list goes on. And naturally this will cause us to feel vulnerable, therefore, leading to anxiety,+ or depression.

The amazing thing is Acupuncture can reduce majority of the MS symptoms, which in turn can offer a better quality of life.

Please feel free to reach out to me for your health care needs.

Please bring your medical report.

Thank you and have a Blessed day!

Acupuncture Rejuvenation Face Lift

About our Signature Rejuvenation Lift

Our Signature Rejuvenation lift is a non-invasive, non-surgical treatment . Each treatment is specifically designed to target your facial needs.

In general, Acu-facial does improve facial appearance by rejuvenating dull, flawless skin, reducing fine lines and wrinkles, toning facial skin, improves circulation, reduce brown spots, tightens skin, build collagen, and nourishes the appearance of sagging skin.

To truly bring vitality to your face it is necessary for us to work on alleviating the symptoms (Ex: dry skin can be a sign of dehydration) and treating the root of your facial appearance.

Visible results can be seen after the first treatment. Dramatic and long lasting changes generally occur with a series of sessions.

To enhance your treatment we can suggest the following add-on to benefit your facial needs: Facial mask, Gua Sha, Topical essential oil infusion, micro-current, regular acupuncture health care treatments, or Dietary changes.

**I specialize in treatment of scar tissue due to facelift, c-sections, injuries.**

Initial Facial Rejuvenation w/lift = $168

The Healing Diet Group

Via Phone and Skype

Become an active participant in owning your health! The main reason why I created this program for individuals or groups is because often Social Media teaches us that in order to conform with Society we need to Detox, be on a  Paleo Diet, Vegan Diet, Atkins Diet, and or South Beach Diet. Often, these instant diets are about completely eliminating certain foods which may be beneficial for our bodies and eating foods that 'promote' this diet/our goal. Has it worked? Or have you noticed or have friends who ended up with IBS, or worsening of PMS, Menopause symptoms after going on special diets?

In Chinese Medicine theory, we always take into consideration of balancing of yin & yang. The objective of the program is to focus:

Working to getting to know your constitution.

Building your constitution.

Cupping Therapy

What is Cupping

Cupping therapy is usually performed on areas of the body that have tension, blockages, stiffness, to extract pathogens (heat or cold), reduce cellulite, and to improve circulation.

Side effects may cause bruising.

When treating with Cupping, Gua sha or Acupuncture it is important to eat a light meal 1 hour before receiving treatment. Cupping therapy is not recommended for anyone who is weak, anemic, frail or have a serious condition.

Types of Cupping Therapy

1. Fire Cupping - I insert a fire into the cup which creates a vacuum as I place the cup over the surface of your skin. The cups are placed in the areas that are in need of therapy for the duration of 10 - 15 min.

2. Fire Moving Cupping - The initial procedure is the above mentioned but I begin first with placing an (mint, lavender, therapeutic oil) onto the surface of your skin, then I apply the cup and move it to enhance the effects of releasing tension and improving circulation. Moving cupping is similar to getting a deep tissue massage.

*For both techniques the fire is only to create a vacuum then the fire is put out.

3. Fire Bleeding Cupping - The blocked area is pricked with a lancet and the cup is placed over the lanced area, blood is drawn out into the cup, then removed.  Often used to treat blood stasis, spider veins.

- Fire cupping is an additional $5 for the duration of 15min, per region.

- Fire Moving Cupping is an additional $1/1minute.

I found the moving cupping, relieved me of the tension on my shoulders and back! Thank you!     ~Paul F.

Gua Sha Therapy

What is Gua Sha

Gua Sha or 'Scraping' is a traditional home remedy used in most Asian families. Gua means to scrap, Sha means 'bad qi'. Gua Sha is an additional technique used during an Acupuncture treatment or separately.  The Gua Sha tool can be made of stone, Jade, or a porcelain spoon.

Gua Sha is used to expel pathogen, remove knots, tension, reduce cellulite, improve circulation.

Side effects may cause bruising.

When treating with cupping, Gua sha or Acupuncture it is important to eat a light meal 1 hour before receiving treatment. Gua Sha therapy is not recommended for anyone who is weak, anemic or frail.

How Does it Feel

Before Gua Sha make sure to eat a light meal 1 hour before treatment. When performing Gua Sha, it is important to put an oil onto the surface of the skin so the skin and Gua Sha tool is not creating unnecessary friction. The surface of the skin is scraped with the Gua Sha tool to cause a reddening (petechia) of the skin.

Some people's  skin will immediately react to the scraping and show red, deep red, blue, or a purple shading on the surface of the skin. The colors indicate a different pathology. Which is a good sign, that we got rid of the sha, or 'bad Qi'.

Gua sha is an effective way to eliminate toxins such as cellulite (deposits of fatty tissue) and muscular knots.

~ Gua Sha does not cure terminal disease.

I got Scraping to remove a blockage in my calves which was preventing energy flow to my stomach. It was interesting and I feel better! ~Matthew B.
